Ayhan Thomas Lain

Q: How did you come up with the name for your business?
A: It's a combination of my fun loving goofy personality and the flavor combinations I create.

Ayhan Lain the founder and owner of The Crazy Chef LLC has a passion for feeding people great food. His motto "Who says you can't play with your food?" is a play on the unique flavors he loves to create.

 

Ayhan began his cooking career as a hungry teenager in California with two working parents. His love for food and cooking took him to the Army where he developed his skills as a Food Service Specialist. After completing active duty he went on to culinary school earning his degree from Pennsylvania Culinary in 2000. He has worked in various hotels and restaurants, from fine dinning to Asian fusion. He began offering private chef services in the mid 2000's while continuing to learn and grow under other chefs in the industry.

 

In 2018 he made his dream a reality and had a custom mobile kitchen built. He very carefully equipped the kitchen to ensure he would have the needed equipment for any menu he decided to offer.
